About the Lodge

In 1950, Ferndale Lodge No. 264 established a Temple building fund with the goal of acquiring a permanent home for their Masonic activities. This aspiration moved forward on July 31, 1956, when the Ferndale Masonic Temple Association formally applied to purchase three lots in Block 17 of the amended Plat of Ferndale, located in Whatcom County.

The building that now stands on these lots serves as the current home of Lynden/Ferndale International Lodge No. 56. It also hosts several other Masonic-affiliated organizations, including the Order of the Eastern Star, the Order of DeMolay, and the Rainbow Girls. These groups contribute to the rich tradition of Masonic and youth-oriented service within the community, using the Ferndale Masonic Hall as a centre for their activities and meetings.
